General information and details about our Apartments

Two very charming apartments in an excellent location in Via del Governo Vecchio, a famed little street in the very heart of Rome, just steps away from Piazza Navona. It’s ZTL (Traffic Limited Zone) and it’s very quiet and safe even in the small hours of the night, and within walking distance (15 minutes radius) of the most important historical sights in the city centre. You won’t need any bus transit or taxi: you will love to discover the real life of the city by simply strolling around the neighbourhood.

One of the finest Baroque Masterpieces in the Popes’ Rome, Piazza Navona displays the work of competing architecture geniuses, Bernini and Borromini. The charm of its harmony and colours is only enhanced by the surprising contrast between the grandeur of the monuments and churches and the more discreet elegance of the private buildings.

Just walk across the River Tiber and you’ll find St. Peter’s Cathedral, the imposing Castel Sant’Angelo and Trastevere, one of the liveliest and most genuinely Roman neighbourhoods. At the same distance (about 300 meters) in the opposite direction, you can reach Campo de’ Fiori, where local residents go shopping for groceries in the traditional open market. With its bars, cafes, restaurants, pizzerias, shops and pubs, the area is one of the hot evening meeting points in town, and during the day it’s the perfect place for window-shopping or simply sitting at a coffee table and watching the colourful people walking by or enjoying the performances of street artists. Still more of the wonders of the Eternal City including the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum and the Coliseum are also within walking distance.

Gold offers a unique, intimate atmosphere, with its old wooden furniture and artful décor. The living room area on the ground floor features a kitchenette with a breakfast corner where you can start your day with your own freshly brewed espresso a wardrobe, a double sofa-bed, and a bathroom with shower. On the mezzanine you’ll find a bedroom with a queen size bed. Up to 4 guests can comfortably reside here.
The apartment is fine ancient wooden furnished with good taste. Independent heating system and air conditioning (optional on request).

Platinum is a two-room apartment, made up of a living room with a double sofa-bed, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a bathroom with bathtub. The kitchenette is equipped with a coffee machine for your espresso, as well as other appliances, such as an electric cooker, a toaster and kettle boiler for your breakfast needs, a little refrigerator unit complete with an ice compartment, and a washing machine.
The artful and unusual décor bears some reminders of the rowboat battles which would traditionally take place in an artificially flooded Piazza Navona during the Renaissance period. Up to 4 guests can comfortably reside here.
